I try to finish it so I don't have to go back but that is an option too of course. If you try it get out early before it gets too hot. It is a good exercise no matter how it goes. You have to choose a subject and paint quickly and try not to chase the light. It's only paint, right? Easy said, I know we want them all to be masterpieces don't we? Please visit again.Barbara Paskhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02236804963054766302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9005104198381292497.post-26159466741905505452010-07-02T20:04:36.547-07:002010-07-02T20:04:36.547-07:00Hi Barbara, I was wondering how long you have to c...Hi Barbara, I was wondering how long you have to complete a painting like this. I have not taken my easel outside yet. I am afraid in our heat by the time I got set up, i would be wanting to leave. Been in the high 90's here in KY till this week. I truly applaud those who can paint outside in all kinds of weather.Sunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05627362326166805915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9005104198381292497.post-58717380252024015052010-07-02T13:43:30.994-07:002010-07-02T13:43:30.994-07:00Hi Linda, Yes, I was drawn to the side of it beca...Hi Linda, Yes, I was drawn to the side of it because of the shape and the light. We have had some hot weather too but I'm sure it's nothing compared to yours. I have stood out there in the 90's and that is very hot to me but I'm not stopping, lol.Barbara Paskhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02236804963054766302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9005104198381292497.post-36775905880423528232010-07-02T11:49:33.018-07:002010-07-02T11:49:33.018-07:00You should try it Carol, always the best practice...You should try it Carol, always the best practice to paint from life. Our group will have to do that in the wintertime, since it is nearly unbearable in the Summer heat. I am really drawn to the red in this lovely plein-aire painting. Your handling of the windows is just beautifully done. Thanks for sharing these artworks of yours. :)Debra Bryanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04661365308051106575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9005104198381292497.post-81781404644990587642010-07-02T10:33:23.097-07:002010-07-02T10:33:23.097-07:00Very nice, Barbara.
