Soft Shades

Hi there!  This is one of two paintings I entered in the Woman's art club show, they only may take one and they chose the other.  I was very happy to be chosen, it's their 122nd annual show.  My painting sold, actually twice.  I had to paint it a second time for another lady. It was the two white ducks I posted a while back.  This painting is oil on a 8" x 10" canvas, painted from life.  

This Friday night in Evendale Ohio I have two paintings in the Evendale art show, it's only hangs for the weekend but it's such a nice show.  

Another Chicken

Hi friends, this chicken was painted from a photo I took last year, I loved that I caught him with his foot in the air.  This is oil on a 8" x 10" canvas.  

We had the opening of the Cincinnati Women's art club show.  I didn't win anything but my painting sold so actually I did win.  It's such a wonderful thing when someone wants to live with one of your paintings. 

Tonight is open house at the Artist Lounge in Mason, I will be painting.  Please stop by from 5-9, it's a fun time. 

Girl Watcher

Hi there,  isn't this a handsome boy, I think he has his eye on the girls, lol  This is oil on a 8" x 10" canvas.  Fun to paint and I just finished a chicken too.
