I do love still lifes

Hello! I painted this a few days ago from a set up.  Roses are hard and I do not paint them often, I wanted to be painterly and yet feel like roses.  This is oil on a 8" X 10" linen panel.  I will be back outside painting soon, I'm excited and ready. 

 Did I tell you I am attending a Mark Boedges workshop in Vermont the end of May, it is a five person intensive workshop.  Google him, he's just amazing.
