Grandmas chalkware rooster

Hi Friends! This was painted from life looking at a set up of this old rooster that belonged to my grandmother. This is oil on a linen panel, I find I prefer the hard surface to paint on. This was painted for an event in September, I have others in the works. Painting outside Saturday in a plein air competition, hope I can handle the heat, whew! Stay cool!

Birds with texture

Hi! I’ve been having fun lately painting birds over this applied leaf texture. They are painted in Golden Open acrylics on 4” x 6” deep canvases. They’re available on my website at BarbaraPask.com, only $36 and that includes shipping in the US. Thanks for visiting.

Landscape

Hi there! Painted this one a while back and just added it to my website. I got a lot of nice feedback on Facebook, it’s pretty painterly with a lot of knife work. It’s oil on a 11” x 14” canvas. Gosh it’s a beautiful day here in Ohio, I hope it’s nice where ever you are. 😀. BarbaraPask.com

Tomatoes

Robins Nest

Hello! This little painting is oil on a 6” x 6” linen panel, it’s available on my website with free shipping. BarbaraPask.com I love the color of robins eggs and tried hard to match it, I think I came pretty close. I painted outside today, just perfect weather, we have been waiting for warm dry weather here in Ohio. So good of you to stop by.

New website

Hi Friends, I took on the monumental task of creating a website. This is a Faso site and I did have one several years ago. It really hasn’t been too bad, I have a batch of small paintings on and I’ll go from there. I still plan to blog but I thought I would put more of my work in one place to people to view and hopefully purchase. Check it out. Barbarapask.com Thank you!
