One of the miniatures framed

Thought I'd show you one of my tiny paintings framed. The canvas is 3" X 4". This is a 2" wood frame. Some people probably would probably find it aggravating to paint small but I typically paint on a 8 X 10 canvas so the adjustment wasn't too bad.

Looks good in the frame. I like painting small too, but need to stretch my arm out on some big ones once in a while. What is the biggest you have ever painted?

Yeah, they're cute, hope people like them. I haven't painted a lot of large ones, 16 X 20 seems large. I did a big cow once something like 24 X 30???? Maybe miniatures will be my thing. Thank you again for your great help. Barb

I think that the minis are fun to do, too. I never used to paint small but have really enjoyed it the last few years.

It's a great way to get lots of practice in without taking so much time on each painting.

Plus it's easier to store and exhibit 50 little 'uns (8x10" or smaller) than it is to deal with 50 24x30" paintings. And the minis are so much more affordable for everyone.

Hi Diana, You're right about storing them, you can easily store the small ones but larger pieces get in the way. I do hope they go over, I think I really like painting them. Barb
