Nora

Hi,   I just loved doing this.  I met this gal Nora on Ustream and she agreed to send me some photos of herself.  She has such an interesting look with the blond dreads.  I did make the decision to leave out her face piercings,  she has one in each cheek and in her lip.  I have several other reference photos so I will be painting her again.  A bit of glare as the paint is very wet. This is oil on a 11 X 14 canvas panel.   Thanks Nora

You did a great job, Barb. You modeled the face so well that it really looks 3 dimensional. Great eyes.

Well thank you Gary. She is a character and it was so much fun to paint. I think as artists we are always looking for people to paint that you can tell their personality by looking at them.
