Good Morning, I painted this landscape during the week from a image taken at the park behind my house. This is oil on a 11 X 14 canvas panel. Thanks for stopping by!
I like it Barb. I haven't seen a landscape from you in a while. While I love your portraits, this is a beauty. I have been working on creek scenes lately. I posted one and I'll soon post another. I go crazy trying to capture the reflections. They are wonderfully challenging and frustrating at the same time. I think I need to work smaller so I can get more done.
Hi there Anita, I am painting portraits mostly but I get the itch every now and then to do a landscape. I am really glad you like it. I love your last post, you paint such interesting and creative pieces.
Hi Barbara, Your landscape is beautifully peaceful - I also like you still life. I am looking forward to your workshop - sounds interesting. Isn't it great that we can change from portrait to still life to landscape - just so much out there to be painted!
Hi Carol, I started out painting mostly landscapes , then I painted hundreds of still lifes and now lots of portraits. Who know where I will settle in, maybe I'll continue to do all of it. So glad you like these, I'll be doing a post on the workshop soon.

I am really loving your landscapes, Barb. :)
Lovely Barb! What a peaceful view, with the meandering river and the sun glinting on the water. Thanks for sharing it with us on twitter! :-)
Thanks Irene, landscapes do come easier to me than faces but I just love painting faces. I know you know, lol
Hi Ruth, Thank you so much for your sweet and encouraging words. I appreciate you finding me, I'll visit you.

What a fabulous landscape Barbara! You are so lucky to have this kind of scenery so close to your home.
Hi Liz, The park is one of the main reasons we moved here, we are lucky. Thank you as always for visiting Liz.
You have a nice park there. The river reads right as well as the distant trees.
So glad to hear that Bill, thank you. Loved the last painting on your blog.
Hi Barb. Just checking up on your work.
This landscape is real nice. Good sense of depth to it.
Thank you Frank, so good to see you. Great complement coming from the master landscape painter.
Great feel, I really like the atmosphere in the sky and water!
Hi Karen, So nice of you to find me, glad you like my work. Your paintings of horses are wonderful. Nice to connect with you on twitter.
