Wow, Barb, I love it. The sunlight glows through the leaves and the plants gestures are strong and authentic. As a gardener, this is what I look for in outdoor floral work. Yay!
Incredible Sunflowers Barb. Very fresh. I can tell you painted it "on site". I'm trying to play "catch up". I've been neglecting both blogging and blog visiting since the beginning of the school year.

That is so nice to hear Dar. I don't paint flowers too often, I wanted this to read right but still be painterly.
Hi Josh, thanks so much, they are gorgeous right now. How are you handling the cool weather?
Nice painting. That flower on the left is my favorite but it looks like it wants nothing to do with the sun.
I agree Bill, that is the most interesting flower and if it looks like it doesn't want to be in the sun I must have painted it correctly.

Thank you Anita, just sold it, :) I know how busy you must be, my daughter is a teacher too. So glad you found time to visit. Pace yourself, lol.
Thank you for visiting my blog! No wonder this is sold - I love the loose and windswept look of these sunflowers!
Hi Jeannette, Thank you for visiting here also. Glad you like this, I don't paint many flowers but maybe I should.
Looks good Barb! The colors and
brush strokes are beautiful!
Thank you so much Bill, I have missed you lately at Daves.
