Hi, I had such fun painting the little mary janes that when I found this pair of tap shoes at the thrift store I thought I needed to paint them. I put gold ribbon in them and tied large bows, I think that works. This is oil on a 5 X 7 panel.
Taps on Sept.11 then you tied a yellow ribbon, maybe I read more into this than I should, but Barb, this painting is profound, I love it,(viewer interpitation)

I love this Barb. Now paint some heels for a girl who never gets out of flip flops! :)
I am all about comfort, more so all the time. ha Never painted high heels, hmm.
Great painting of the taps, Barbara! Love the soft edges.
aren't thrift stores the BEST?
I'm almost afraid to go into them, I have SO many props.
This is beautiful.
Thank you Dean, always appreciate your visits.

I must admit that wasn't my intention Bill but I love that is how you see it. You are a great guy and I am very happy you love the painting.
Precious, Barbara! Love those big bows.
Hi Gwen, So nice of you to visit, I love your work. Little girls need big bows on their tap shoes, don't you think?
Wow Barb, this is so well done! Feels like grabbing these adorable shoes and dancing! Sure brings the memories from my childhood back. Great job!
Mary
