Hi, I worked on this the last few days and it may be finished. This was painted from a photo I took recently, I really liked the gals hat and all the extra things tied to her handbag. This is oil on a 8 X 10 Raymar panel. Not sure of the name yet, maybe you can help me. Of course "Waiting Patiently" is one option, another is "Making Plans" or maybe you have a good suggestion. I am considering entering this into a juried show at the end of the month, maybe???

Barb, I like the softness that you keep in all of your work. This one is no exception. For title, I kind of like "Making Plans", but you will know what fits your plan. I like the casualness of the figures, and the dog who is so unconcerned makes me smile. You have a good eye! Good luck in the show you enter. Debra
Okay... I'm inspired... These little vignettes tell a great story and I love to see them when others have done them...
Wanna do one of my own ... Maybe I'll pull it off almost as well as you have.
Great job, Barbara.
Thank you very much Debra, I appreciate all the kind words and I'm glad you like it.
Hi Marian, You should try something like this. I like paintings of "people doing people things"
These is great Barbara! I love the idea of 'Making Plans' - she seems to be so thoughtful. Great painting.
Hi Liz, She does look deep in thought doesn't she? I may go with that title, I often wonder how important the title is to a painting. I think sometimes it directs your eye and she is the most interesting part of the painting.
Barb, that's a good handling of figures! Regarding the title, it kind of looks like "Making Plans", just my impression. Best wishes on the show!
Mary
