Hi! I painted this recently, a bit larger for me. 16 X 20 oil on a stretched canvas. I purchased this old silver teapot a while back and set up this somewhat elaborate set up. I hope you find it interesting, I think the tulips and the spoon lead you back into the painting. Silver can be fun and a bit challenging to paint, I try hard to paint what I see and hope that it ends up reading like silver.

Thank you Fay, I really appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Yes, the teapot is lovely, but the CUP! Very nice Barb! ...lost edges, great elipse, just enough light!
Loved the sweet painting you did of Hoshi, Tamira's kitty. You can tell she loves it. I'm enjoying all your beautiful work.
One of your lovely soft still life paintings again, Barbara! The way you did the surfaces of the silver and fruit is very impressive!
Hi Debra, you have such a good eye. I set this painting up when I finished it and thought that cup is the star of the show. Is that a bad thing? Hopefully not.
Thank you Leticia, I appreciate your visit.
Thanks Marie. I did add some dark edges to the items in this painting for a different affect this time. Glad you like it.
Good job of painting what you see, Barbara! You made me see it too! ;)
Thank you Dean!
