Hi, I painted this last Monday while visiting with my group. Once again I brought it home and went over the vase with a palette knife. I just love oil paints and I love showing them off. This is 8 x 10 on a Raymar panel.

I like this, love the texture on the vase.
I also like "Vintage Memories". I have wanted to do a set up with fishing equipment for some time and I think your husband got it right!
this is painted so beautifully, Barbara..the texture, color and I love the reflections in the vase. I also love your previous "Vintage Memories. I would have mixed feelings auctioning it off since you used your father in law's reel and your Dad's pipe! You'll have to do another..LOL Again...great work, as always.!
You've done a great job at showing off the beauty of oils in this vase, Barbara!
Have to mention, "Vintage Memories" is outstanding! I used to fly fish in the past...this is well done.
Thanks so much Carol. It was fun doing the fly fishing theme, I will probably try some others.
You are so sweet Hilda, thanks for visiting.
Thanks Dean! Glad the Vintage Memories appeals to you, hopefully it will go over well at the dinner.
The palette knife technique worked very well! Nice job!
Absolutely delicious brushwork! Thanks for the close up too.
Thank you Tim, it was fun.
Thank you Mary, I think if you are going to paint in oils you might as well show them off. :)
Beautiful Barb! Love the texture and the reflection - perfect palette for this one! Your Vintage Memories is outstanding - I agree - hard to let that one go!
Thank you Rosemary, you are always so supportive. Hugs.
Gorgeous, Barbara - it just glows!
Glad you like it Connie, it's juicy and painterly.
