Colors of Fall
Hello, I painted this from a reference photo I took a few years ago. It is a little early here yet for fall colors assuming we will have any with our very dry year. I just loved this row of orange trees reflecting in the lake. This one I based in with acrylics then pre mixed my oils and went over it. That was a good way to work as it kept my oils clean knowing exactly where I was going. This is painted on a 8 x 10 canvas and will be available after some drying time.
Good of you to visit, please take time to comment. I love reading them!

Beautiful Fall colors, Barbara! In a way I'm looking forward to all of those wonderful colors...Beautiful painting.
A beautiful scene, simply stated. Just lovely. I'm a little biased; it's my favorite time of year.
All the best to you, Barb!
This is really lovely! I like how you did the reflections. Autumn is my favorite season and you captured it ..... although, this is not a Texas fall day! :-)
Thank you Hilda. I love fall and spring but I could pass on winter, lol.
Hi there Dar! Great to see you, glad to know you are lurking around still, lol. Hugs
Thanks so much Linda, it is a simple scene but I liked that about it. Wondering if we will have much of a fall here with the dry summer.
love it Barb. love the reflections and the sun. Have a great day.
Thanks Sharon. So nice to see you, I'll be by to visit you.
