Hi there, I decided to paint this again but somewhat larger. The first time I painted it 8 x 10, this painting is 16 x 20. I did make a few changes, you know how that goes, lol. A few days ago I dropped it off at the Cincinnati Women's Art Club members show. It will open this Sunday and hang for about a month.
Thank you for stopping by~

oh my gosh, Barbara!!! this is definitely a favorite! When I paint with oils (not that often) I have such problems getting that "perfect" green. This painting has it!! Love it!!
Truly soothing, Barbara! There is some tension of being overwhelmed by Nature, but then the viewer decides: "Look at the bright sunlight and fresh greens, one should really explore this pathway!"
This is so serene. I just want to walk into this painting!
You are so sweet Hilda, so happy you like this so much. Actually this is acrylic but you are so right, greens can be very difficult.
That is so nice Marie, I wanted that glow in the distance to draw your eye back there and hopefully make someone want to walk down that path. :)
Thanks Josh, it isn't often I want to paint one a second time but I thought this one would be nice a bit larger.
Thank you Linda, Glad it makes you feel that way. Hopefully others will feel that too when they see it. Good to see you.
Barb - I love that path - how it disappears into the background hedges. The blue along the edge of the path has such power! Nice one - good luck on the show!
Thank you so much Pattie. "Power" I like that! Sweet of you to stop by.
