Still life- crock & apples

Hi there, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am thankful for so many things and among them are the people that visit my blog. Blogging has been a wonderful addition to my life.

I painted this last week from a set up, I received this crock as a birthday present and had to paint it. This is oil on a 8 x 10 stretched canvas.

I heard on the Christmas card competition, I was told that the representative loved my painting but didn't choose it because it was a church. I knew it wasn't "politically correct" but it was the image I wanted to paint. So I'm not too disappointed, it will be my Christmas card.

Proud American

Hello, Painted in oils from a photo I took, a very close up view of another sweet old house. I called it "Proud American" because they are flying their flag on the front porch. This is oil on a 8 X 10 stretched canvas. Still time for commissions before Christmas, if you would like your pet painted or possibly your house contact me at barbarapask@zoomtown.com for pricing.

Bright Sunny Day

Hi there, You know how every now and then when you complete a painting you think "I like this"? Well, I like this, lol. I like the colors in the house and the impressionistic tree behind the house, this one has the burnt sienna toned canvas again. This is oil on a 8 X 10 stretched canvas, I may give this another try on a larger canvas. Hope you like it too. Have a great day!
