Another small landscape

Hi, I painted another small one, oil on a 5 X 7 panel. I'm trying out some different compositions and then I plan to paint a 16 X 20 landscape. Hot here in Ohio but then it's not snow, lol. Happy painting

Barb this is really wonderful. I want to be by that river. Landscapes make me sweat to try them, but I'm going to keep trying. Nice work!

Hi Susan, Glad you like it, I jump around so much trying everything. My biggest problem with landscapes is my lack of reference material to paint from. I painted plein air the last two summers and it was always a struggle.

Hi, Barb. Thanks for the nice comment on my blog.
I love this landscape painting! Such looseness and beautiful colors. I also do landscape paintings, mostly in my studio from photos I have taken through the years living in the Texas HIll Counrty.

Hi Bonnie, Thank you so much. When you paint this small I think it's easier to be loose. I've been enjoying doing landscapes lately.

Hi Barb.

I love this small landscape. It is loose and I love your choice of colors. I am brand new to blogging and also an artist. I posted my first painting today. (I didn't paint it today). I am trying to post all the paintings I did in this last year. (a kind of reverse daily painter!)
