Hi, The Cincinnati Art Museum has an open call for pieces that reflect America. The pieces they accept will hang for about a month and it will be called "The View from here, Mason, Ohio". Mason is the town where I live and this reference photo was taken in a park near where I live. Sorry about the glare from the light. I took the reference photo of this sweet little girl, I just love little girls in pink and this one happened to be back lit too. This is oil on a 11 x 14 stretched canvas. Kind of exciting to possibly have some of your art hanging in the art museum.
Tomorrow begins the event I do every year called "Paint the town" in Loveland, Ohio. It goes through next Sunday the 13th and we have a wet paint sale that day. So it will be a crazy fun week of deciding what to paint and doing it quickly. I have three canvases ready to go, hoping to complete them by Sunday.
