Hello there, a few weeks ago my daughter grandson and I went to Williamsburg Va. for a few days. It was so lovely there, crepe myrtles were in bloom everywhere. This is the first painting I did from some of my reference photos and I will be painting others. This is oil on a 8 X 10 stretched canvas.

Very lovely, Barbara. Sounds like you really enjoyed your trip, too.
Thank you so much Carol, we had such a nice time. Williamsburg is so beautiful, I love that time period. The costumes and the buildings were so lovely.
Once again the softness of your style gives the painting an antique and timeless feeling, Barbara! It is a lovely place, warm and friendly and I am sure the rest of your paintings will be very pleasant too!
Barbara...very nicely done. It gives off a sense of tranquility and gentleness. Well done.
So beautiful and warm. A really lovely painting Barbara.
You are so sweet Marie, I love your comments. I have painted another one of these sweet colonial homes, glad you think my style works well with the subject.
Thank you very much Lokelani, so happy it makes you feel like that.
Thank you very much Liz, another house for you. :)
