Acton Lake
Hi, This is another little one, 6 x 6 on a Raymar panel. I painted this in Houston Woods looking over Acton Lake. It actually was a full moon but I thought if I painted it that way it might look like the sun. There was a row of pole lamps off to the right reflecting light on the boats. My first boats I think, I tried to paint what I was seeing and not analyze it so hopefully everything reads correctly. I purchased little easels to set these panels on, I think they display wonderfully that way.
Please check out some of my artwork on Ebay - offering several paintings at reduced prices.
Fall will be here before we know it, this summer has been unbearable with such high temps so I'm looking forward to getting out this fall and painting some fall colors.
SOLD! <3
Have a wonderful day- see you soon. Hugs

It's beautiful Barbara. I love the muted colors and the reflection in the water. :)
Thank you so much Crystal, good of you to visit. :)
Nicely done, Barb! It must feel good to know that your skills and perception served you well with a new subject matter.
Thanks Dar! I tried to just look at shapes and colors, it was so fun. I'll be painting more boats.
Barbara, it is so lovely to see such a loose painting about boats and water.
Thank you so much Marie!
