Hello there, I painted this from a reference photo that I took. This is oil on a 11 x 14 Raymar panel. Actually I started it months ago and it sat in my studio unfinished, I decided to go at it with a palette knife and create some of that texture that I love. I think it's finished now??

I love barns and this is a wonderful painting!
Nice, I can appreciate it more since I'm painting a church and struggling with the roof angles.
Did you like the farm yard smell while painting?
Thank you so much Karla, I love barns too. Nice to see you.
Hi Bill, Can't wait to see your finished painting, I know it will be good with all of the correct angles, lol. Took the photo out the car window, not much farm yard smell in there, lol.
Beautiful colors on this barn, Barbara. There's something about old barns that I love as well!!
Thank you Hilda, it was fun to paint with the warms and cools and I like that bit of reflected light on the top of the silo reflecting back from the barn.
Very nice Barbara.
