Walk in the park

I was walking in the park the other night and looked to my left, I saw this trail that ran off and the sun was setting and this orange glow was shooting across the trail and hitting the trees. It was lovely, I hope you feel that when you look at this. This is in oil on a 8 X 10 canvas panel. Thanks everyone for the positive feedback on my palette knife portrait, I love the opportunity to share my art with other artists.

Beautiful treatment of the trees generally Barbara. For me they are amongst the most difficult things to paint.I love the colours too in this painting.

Thank you so much Sheila, I've been painting a lot of landscapes lately. I think trees are pretty forgiving, there are not two alike.
