Another child painting

Hi,  The second in my series of children's paintings.  Eight months ago I never thought I would be interested in painting portraits but I just love creating faces.  This little gal is painted in oil on a 8 X 10 Raymar panel.   Hope you like her.

I sure see the progress you're making, Barb! I think faces are endlessly entertaining. I never get tired of painting them, and I see you're getting addicted, too!

Hi Susan, Thank you Queen Susan, lol. Really, that means so much coming from you. It really is addicting, who knew? Years ago I used to sew a lot, made bunnies and stuffed mice and there was something special about creating a little face, loved it then too.

Yes, you are getting it!
These portraits have life to them. Sweet.
Happy New Year, Barb.

They just keep getting better! I like the tilt of the head, the sly grin, and the smiling eyes!

Thank you Mary, that really is nice to hear.

You like this one better Dean? That is great, I wasn't sure but I'll keep em coming.

Barbara, where are you finding all these kids? Looks like they are having as much fun as you are painting them.

Well, I kind of put them together, a face from here and the hair from there, I might even change their mouth. I look through magazines for cute children. Wetcanvas is another great place to find images too.
