Old Crock & Pears

Hello, I painted this still life from a set up. This is the third time I have painted this crock in different set ups and the other two sold. So maybe this is my lucky crock, hehe. I really liked the reflection of the yellow pear in the crock. This is oil on a 8 x 10 stretched canvas and this one is listed on Ebay framed until Tuesday evening.

I like your crock. Like you said, this may just be your lucky crock. Congrats on your sales.

Thanks Lokelani, it was a birthday gift.

A lucky crock? Go for it, Barbara. It also helps to keep your paintings quiet. I always appreciate paintings that do not "shout" and have soft edges, although my blog works are illustrative and hard-edge!

Thank you Marie, I'm glad you like my soft approach. Your work is just lovely. As artists we all have self doubt but I think it keeps us growing and that is good.

Soft and lovely! Great job! The background is nice letting the stars of your painting have center stage! I love the table cloth! Bet this one gets a "sold sign" too!

Thank you very much Rosemary, I like to hear that. :)
