Shore Birds

Hi there! I took the reference photo for this painting last winter in Florida. I really don't know much about birds, I thought these were a type of sea gull but I am not sure. I loved the two little guys on the left that were looking right at me, and I love their little knees, lol. I like paintings that evoke some feeling from the viewer and hopefully this makes you smile. This is oil on a 6 x 6 Raymar panel.

They did make me smile, Barbara! and that's before I read your post. Love the reflections under the birds and I love the way you painted the waves! Excellent job!.
