Sunflowers-still life

Hi, I painted this a while back from a set up, oil on a 8 x 10 stretched canvas. It went through several changes, this started out as a teapot with a lid sitting in front of it. I didn't like the lid, wiped it out and ended up doing away with the spout too. The spout didn't seem to add anything to it.

This Friday night is First Friday at the Middletown Pendleton Art Center, stop by and see us from 5-9 if you are in the area.

Check out some of my artwork on Ebay and have a great day SOLD

Nice piece. I really like how the tiny cup on the table turned out.

I think you did a great job of turning the teapot into something else!!! I love the vase that you came up with... way to go!

Thank you Teresa, I wanted it to be about the sunflowers and that spout was just distracting, lol.
