A Two Bottle Day

Hi there, I am not a wine drinker but I thought this title was humorous. I really had a great time with this one. I taped off four squares on the front, applied medium let that dry then applied tissue paper for more texture. The last thing I did before painting was to add that fan texture. I am really into adding more interesting elements into my paintings so when you get up close you see the added texture. This is acrylic on a 8 x 10, 1 1/2" deep gallery canvas. The ridges are catching some light so they appear lighter than they are, added a close up view too. Great of you to visit, please comment. Have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks Maria, the ridges do catch light so they appear lighter here but I did a cad red wash over it and that caught on the ridges and that looks good.
