Pet Portraits #3 Cat

Hello there, A cat, #3 in my series. I am working on the next one, a dog. This is acrylic on a 10" x 10" stretched canvas with painted edges. I painted this same cat last year on a small canvas, this is one intense kitty, lol. I always enjoy painting white, putting in variations of purples and blues. Good news, my painting was accepted into a competition in a local gallery near here, Shakespeare is the theme. Check out some of my paintings on Ebay So nice of you to stop by

A lovely painting and so is the dog in previous post. After 7 years of pleading by my family I'm finally doing a painting of our daughter's dog, Mango. Hopefully I can learn something from your pet pieces.

Well hi there Bill, I was getting worried after not seeing you around. Thanks for the kind words, the dog is my favorite too. Can't wait to see Mango, it's fun painting animals.

I like the way you set him off to one side. A nice balance between realism and color expression.
Pretty kitty.

Thank you Sand Hill. I like to have that negative space to one side. Nice of you to visit and comment, please come by again.
