Fresh Fruit

Hi there! Sorry I haven't posted the last few weeks, we just came from back from a stay in Siesta Key. So great to get away from the cold, I'll have to hang onto those warm memories to get me through our long winter.

This little painting is a 5" x 7" canvas painted in oils. I picked up this grapefruit in back of our condo in Siesta Key and these little orange fruits looked just like oranges to me though tiny.  Painting the leaves was the most fun.  Do you know what the tiny little orange fruits are?

So great to be back

Beautiful painting, Barbara. I love the brush work on the grapefruit. I have no idea what the little ones are but if you ever find out ...share with us because I recall eating a small fruit at my family's house years ago that looked small like this and it had a hard skin and it tasted like a sour cherry...(they lived in Orlando)

Thank you Hilda! That sounds like an interesting fruit, now I wished I had tasted them, hehe
