Hi there, This has to be one of the best springs I remember, the flowers and trees are gorgeous. Most springs it starts to get nice and things start to bud and then we have a freeze again but not this year. I ventured out on Wednesday with several from my Monday morning group, first time to paint outside this year. I try it several times during the summer but most of the time I'm not very happy with my result. We painted at a new park where they left the original old barn standing as the property used to be a private farm. This is oil on a 8 X 10 stretched panel, I added colors that weren't there because I am the artist and I can if I want to, lol. Anyway I may go out again this week , it was perfect.
So excited about tomorrow, I am taking an online portrait workshop with Susan Carlin. We are painting a sweet little boy, I plan to learn a lot of new things.

Lovely, Barbara. You are fortunate if your good weather holds out. We are having exactly the kind of spring you described and we are getting 2-5 inches of snow right now that is covering all our flowers that have been coming up this week. We even took the risk of putting out some new plantings.
Oh well. Life happens. Wishing you beautiful sunny days.
Lovely, lovely, lovely. This is expressive and sweet, and did I mention lovely?
Wow Carol, Sorry to hear you are getting snow this time of the year. So sad to see blooms killed off by a late snow. Have to appreciate a nice spring when we get them don't we?
Thank you so much Dar, so happy that you like it.
I'm glad Spring has arrived over there and that we can see all your beautiful house paintings again. This is lovely - the light is stunning.
Hi Liz, Yes, so happy to see winter go. Glad you like this, I don't paint many on site mostly from photos but I will be doing more.
