Spring Blooms, Oil 8 X 10

I painted this yesterday at my lesson, came home and added the grapes. So happy to see spring flowers, I cut these from a forsythia bush blooming in my front yard. I'm going to try to paint some minatures , I ordered ten 3 X 4 frames. I thought they'd be nice for a couple of the events I'm doing this summer. I sure hope I like painting them, I'll have to really put some thought into painting things that show up that small. Bye for now. Barb

Hi barb, Firstly thanks for your comments on my blog. I thought that I would check out yours. The thing that I noticed was that you downsize your photos too much so they aren't as clear as they could be, I downsize mine to about 800 x 1000 (or whatever ratio it is) pixels depending on size, the photo can never be a true representation of your lovely paintings but the more pixels the better! Then when you click on the image on blogger it will show it much larger and viewers can get a better look. I hope you don't mind my comments.
Happy painting
Diana

Thanks Diana, I don't know much about photography. I'll try changing the setting on my digital camera and see what happens. Thanks for the tip.
