First time painting outside this year

What a beautiful day to be outside painting, life is good! I met a dear friend in a sweet town called Loveland, Oh. We sat up in front of this cute building, I think a canoe rental place? I tried to get the light and shadows quickly before things changed and lay the paint down and leave it alone. It turned out pretty good, could use a few touch ups which I may do tomorrow and re-post it. I thought I'd share it anyway. I've done worse, way worse, lol. Oh, it's on a 8 X 10 canvas board, oil of course.

Hi Barb...I like the way you captured those tree shadows on the building. Good plein air painting!

Hi Dean, Thank you, I've worked on it a bit more and I'll post the new one. I realized there was nothing behind it, works well to take a photo and get a good look at it.

I love your self critique Barbara. Funny. I really like the light on the house.
