Gone Fishin'

Hello, I painted this a few days ago, taken from a photo I took while walking in the park. I combined his image with a photo I had taken someplace else. In the original photo of him he was walking along a concrete path and I thought the new surroundings had a better feel. A sweet elderly gentleman, he had his rod, tackle box and I loved the cuffed jeans. This is oil on a 8 X 10 stretched canvas. Have a great weekend!

Oh Barbara he looks so amazing! You've caught the elderly look about him and the casualness of a man of leisure just enjoying his life!

So nice to hear Liz, I was hoping he did have the feel of an older man. I really appreciate your visits.

Great job, Barb! You captured this fellow. His posture and stride say "elderly". I especially like the bit of red shirt showing beneath his jacket! Really sets it off and keeps the eye moving!
