Sunlight in the afternoon

Hi there, I painted this last week from a photo I took while traveling through a small town near here. The afternoon sun was hitting that orange building and the top of the trees. I think I am pretty pleased with this, another one that I may paint larger. This is oil on a 8 x 10 stretched canvas.

A lovely soft and gentle scene. That house makes a lovely focal point, Barbara!

Nice one Barbara - isn't there something so appealing about this suburban/rural roads and houses?

I love the orange house with the church in the distance.

Hello Carol, The bright orange house was of course my focal point but I loved the church steeple in the distance too. Thanks
