Still life-floral

Hello there, This is oil on a 11 X 14 stretched canvas painted from a set up of fresh flowers. Not often I have fresh flowers around but as an artist I think if they are in your house we are obligated to paint them, lol. Once varnished this is the frame it will go in, a wood gold crackled frame.

I am going to leave the small paintings on the last post as a buy it now for a while longer. I painted a little chicken on one of the 6 x 6 canvases, I'll post it soon.

Hope things are wonderful in your life

Love the flowers and the frame really sets it off well, what a difference a good frame makes.

Thank you Diana. I think the frame is important too. I have done shows with other artists that put beat up frames on their art, I think the frames have play an important role.

Very nice bouquet, Barbara. I like that big flower just to the left of center and the light green leaves.

Thank you Bill, that flower was huge compared to the rest. After I painted it I thought maybe I should have rearranged the flowers a bit but it is what it is.
