Still life- Blue & Brass

Hi there, Another still life keeping in mind some of the methods of C.W. Mundy. Sorry, there is a bit of glare in the photo. This is oil on a 8 x 10 Raymar panel.

I am taking several still life set ups with me tomorrow for my Monday painting group, I am trying to keep them on the simple side so we can complete them in one session. I tried to choose set ups with things that have a similar shape, again a suggestion from Mundy. So fun to try new things and see if they work for you. Have a great day!

Very nice, Barbara. I like metal to work with and hardly ever do it. Interesting about Mundy. Others say to vary your shapes and textures. I like your composition and strokes.

Simplicity is always good - not always easy. Love this blue pot with its soft edges. Very nice!

Love the composition/setup Barbara. The little pot is delightful the way you've rendered it!(I'm OilGrl by the way!!)
