Middletown, Ohio

Hello there, I have been working on this triptych for the last several months. This is a street scene in Middletown Ohio near the Pendleton Art Center where I share a studio. I am the featured artist for October and I thought this would be interesting hanging outside our studio. When I am the featured artist I get to hang my art on the exterior wall of the studio and the inside of that wall also. I think I am finished with it but I was tweaking it again today, lol. The center canvas is 16 x 20 and the 2 outside canvases are 12 x 16. They are the 1 1/2 deep canvases and I painted the edges dark. I will spread them out a bit so the length will be somewhere around 45".

This Friday the 5th is "First Friday" at our studio from 5-9, Saturday is second look Saturday and we will also be open 11-2. Please stop by if you are in Middletown Ohio.

Saturday I won't be at the studio, I plan to do a plein air event in Milford Ohio. Hoping for a dry day. We paint from 9-3 with a wet paint sale from 3:30 - 5.

Thanks for stopping by~ please consider putting your email in my " Google group" box and you will receive my posts.

I just LOVE this Barb! What a great job you did, and I like the staggered size......how clever! You just keep getting better and better, but then, that's the general idea, right?! Again, love it!

I really like this Barb--what a great idea--I am sure it will be very popular with everyone. Good luck on your showing.

Debra, you are so good for my ego, ha. I love hearing that. Fun to do something different like this, I thought the staggered heights of the canvases made it more interesting. Hugs

This is great Barb. I love it! And the two sizes are perfect together. You did a fantastic job with this. Yoda speak coming: Very proud am I of you!!

I think the whole town is going to be impressed with what you did! What an attention grabber. Best of luck on First Friday, and then again in October when this hangs.

After your real final tweaking, and we know how that can go, do a happy dance, this is wonderful.

Thank you Marie, nice to see you. I will post photos of the opening with it hanging on the wall. Hard to photograph when it's laying flat, I stood on a chair, lol.

You are so sweet Rosemary. This is big for me isn't it? hehe One gal did some tiny paintings of porches in that area but you can't miss this. I think the art center needs to buy it! Don't you? lol
