Painting of Ellen- Wip

Hi there, I haven't worked on this since Monday but I wanted to show you where it is. I painted this Monday with my group. We had a beautiful model named Ellen sit for us. I want to do a bit more work to it but I'm looking at it for now. May work on some of the skin tones, maybe lighten the eye in shadow? This is oil a 11 x 14 linen panel.

Take a look at some of my paintings on Ebay

Thanks for visiting!

I would leave it now, Barbara. You have a lovely tranquil personality on your canvas and it needs nothing more!

Nice job. Looks about finished to me.

Thank you Marie, I know it's a delicate matter going back into a painting isn't it? I call it "painting it to death" We all have done that, lol. I'll be careful if I do anything.

Thanks Tim, you could be right. :)

I love your artwork and often wonder why you don't paint more portraits, when I see you FINALLY paint one. Good job in capturing the delicacy of youth!

I'm not sure how I missed this beautiful portrait. She's a beautiful girl and you did a wonderful job on her.

Thank you Debra, I don't feel very confident painting portraits but it's always fun to try. Your compliment means a lot to me. She was wonderful to paint.

Thank you Hilda! I don't do many as I said but every now and then I give it another try. Not often I get the chance to paint a live model.
