Pink Geraniums
Hello Friends, I was at the store a few days ago and they had a nice display of potted flowers out. I grabbed up all of the little pots of these wonderful pink geraniums. I wanted to keep the background very loose with a wash of color so the focus would be the flowers. I set up three little pots and here is my finished painting. Please enlarge the painting to view it, the colors are much more true for some reason. This is acrylic on a 11" x 14" stretched canvas. My group Mason Area Painters will be having a month long show in June called The Language of Flowers, I may put this one in the show.

I always zoom on the paintings and this one is absolutely beautiful...I love the colors of these geraniums, Barbara...I just bought some red and pink ones today...of course, I wish I was able to paint these beauties...
