Wren
Hi there, I painted this little painting from a reference photo on Paint My Photo, a great site where photographers and painters come together. This is acrylic on a museum quality Raymar panel, measures 6" x 6". I just love painting birds and this one with his little tail in the air was just too cute. Their little feet are so interesting too. I am offering this on a buy now option, $70 and free shipping. It includes a black wood easel to sit it on. I ship only within the continental US. Please check out my Ebay auctions. Thank you for visiting me!

Very realistic Barbara! Wonderful work...
Thank you Hilda, I had fun with all the little details.
This birdie with his spots and forward stance is wonderful!! I like the background color too, really pops the sienna and muted lavenders on birdie.... (Also, thanks for mentioning the "paint my photo" site, I'm gonna see if they have some horse photos I can paint!) Happy Spring, Barbara!!
Thank you so much for your kind comments Diane! Great to see you. Yes check out Paint My Photo, so many wonderful photos available on there.
I really like your little bird, especially the almost pearlescent-like effect you got in the chest and face area. And the glow of light... I'm so glad to be introduced to you through Sharon Graves--I'm always excited to meet another artist who paints at least some of the time with acrylics! I'm going to go back and look at more of your blog. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Thank you for visiting Meredith, great to meet you too. The more I work with acrylics the more I get hooked on them. Glad you like my little birdie too. We'll meet again :)
This little guy is terrific! Love that edging light you added!!!
Thank you Pattie, putting a bird in my new still now.
