Palette knife

Hi there, sorry I haven't posted in a while but I have been very busy.  I have a few paintings that aren't quite finished, I did a plein air event this past weekend and other assorted things.

I did this today, I had the urge to play around with a palette knife.  I normally use the palette knife a bit for most of my paintings but this one was all palette knife and I smoothed the background out a bit with a brush.  This is oil on a 8" x 10" stretched canvas.  Sorry it's a bit blurry.

I hope things are good in your life, thanks for visiting.

Gros bisous ♡

How nice and buttery, Barbara! I have never painted with a palette knife!

Oh thank you Martine. I like detail also but it can be great fun to push the paint around with a knife.
