Hello, I did this portrait a few days ago, this is oil on a 8 X 10 canvas panel. I have a portrait workshop this next weekend, hopefully I will learn a lot. A local Cincinnati artist named Carin Hebinstreit, a really good portrait artist.
Hello Barbara. I'm now catching up with the daily bloggers! I think you could give a few lessons on portraits! This one is stunning. Such a sad look in this girl's eyes.
Lessons me? Gosh sometimes I think I should give up portraits. It is a roller coaster of emotion, one day you paint one that isn't too bad and the next day you try and wipe off the canvas. I love blogging and comments that people like you leave help me go on.

Love this one, Barb!! Very expressive!
She is beautiful Barbara. So sad looking - like she has stepped out of another era. Gentle, soft and very pretty. Enjoy your workshop.
Hi Irene, I am so pleased you like it, glad you came by.
Thank you very much Carol, I like that, out of another era.
Enjoy your class - I love going to workshops.
Thanks Bill, I hope I love it, going with a good attitude and ready to learn.
