Relaxing, oil 8 X 10
Hi, I've been off relaxing for the last couple of days. My husband and I spent a couple of days in a very quaint town called Madison , Indiana. It's full of historic buildings with lots of great architecture. I took lots of photos and even tried my hand at taking photos outside at night. I may have to paint some of these buildings, you know I will. Good news, I had two pieces accepted for a juried show in September. This piece is called Relaxing, in oil on a 8 X 10 canvas panel. It is available to purchase, $30 plus $7 shipping anywhere in the continental US. 8 X 10 is a standard size and so easy to frame. Contact me at barbarapask@zoomtown.com if you're interested in purchasing it. Have a good day

Feet are very hard to paint. Usually people avoid them. You however have handled them like a master.
Hi Felicia, Thank you so much, I really appreciate that. You know so well how to paint people so that makes it more of a complement.
Congratulations on your paintings jurying in! Felicia is right. My favorite part of your painting is the feet and and ankles and the shadow on them. Way cool, Barb!
Hi Susan, Thanks so much, it was one of my goals this year to try to get into this show. I like her legs and feet more than her face too, they're more interesting I think.
Conrats on getting two works accepted into the show, Barb. Your hard work deserves it.
I checked out your new Etsy art. Very nice stuff. Good luck with sales.
Thank you so much Dean. I hope I do well on Etsy too, I didn't list all the time on Ebay and when I did that wasn't going too well. I always appreciate you stopping by.
Hi Barbara, Thanks so much for the nice comments on my blog. Your work is lovely, keep working hard. I like this one especially, love the way she is dangling the shoe off her foot! Nice and loose. Carol
Hi Carol, Thank you for your nice comment. I'm glad you came by to see me. This was fun to paint.
