Bicentennial Barn

Hi there, This painting was just accepted into the "Healing Arts" show at the McCullough-Hyde Hospital. The show will hang for a year and open April 19th with a reception. The hospital will purchase up to six of the paintings included in the show so my fingers are crossed that they will purchase mine. This painting was painted from one of my reference photos, this barn is the only Bicentennial barn in Warren County Ohio. This is acrylic on a 11 x 14 canvas and framed in a black 3" frame. These barns are all throughout Ohio. Please check out some of my paintings on Ebay Please enter your email address in my Google Group box to receive my posts. Thanks for visiting!

First of all Barbara, I hope the hospital picks your painting...this is wonderful. I've passed quite a few barns in West Virginia where they have writing on the outside of the building...which really makes it more interesting. I also like the misty atmosphere in the background!!

Ah thank you Hilda, I would love it if they picked mine. I always loved Mail Pouch Tobacco barns but never painted one, barns can be so different and interesting can't they. Thank you so much for your constant support , hugs.

Heehee, I was gonna say: I've seen that barn!!?? But I don't think I've ever been to Warren County. :) Fingers crossed that the hospital sees fit to purchase!
